How to ignore negativity?

Hello aspirants!!
In the journey of UPSC CSE, the biggest challenge is to keep our mind focused on our studies and get rid of the negative energy of the surrounding people. We encounter many people, relatives and friends who tells us that this is not a game, and put a question mark on our ability. As they say, there is a power threat. When we gain power, someone looses it in the same proportion. Hence, people will always try to demotivate you so that you can get distracted and couldn’t achieve your aim.
Types of criticism:
Criticism is just like a two sided sword. If you use it positively, you can improve a lot. Kabir das told us, ” NINDAK NIYARE RAKHIYEA, AANGAN KUTI CHAWAYE! BIN PANI, SABUN BINA, NIRMAL KARE SUBHAYE!! ” It means we should keep our critics near us, they’d help us improve our personality. But, if the criticism is not handled positively, it might hurt your self esteem, ego and self confidence, which is very fatal. Therefore, whenever someone criticize you, just check if you really have such faults. If yes, work on them. If not, just ignore that. For example, if a friend of yours says, you can’t clear the examination because it needs hard work which you’re not doing. Just check if I’m studying the way I should or not. If not, just focus on your daily study hours.
Believe yourself:
Apart from this, whenever someone says that you can’t do it because you lack the ability or not everyone can do etc., just have a firm faith in yourself and do your work without listening to him/her. You know yourself better than anyone else. Those who clear the examination are also the humans, belong to the same planet and come from the same society. It is said that most of the bureaucrats are from UP and Bihar, the two states that are very poor, literacy rate is low and resources are also not sufficient. So, you just need to close your ears and stick your eyes on your aim. No one, literally no one can stop you. I believe in you. Do you have faith in yourself?
