India is also gaining strength in the field of manufacturing and exporting defense equipment. It is reported that Tejas fighter aircraft made in India has become the first choice of Malaysia. Recently, China’s JF-17, South Korea’s FA-50 and Russia’s MiG-35 and Yak-130 fighter aircraft were involved in the race to be part of Malaysia’s Air Force, but Tejas won the competition. Tejas is far better than the fighter jets of giant countries like Russia, China and South Korea. China’s JF-17 fighter aircraft is cheaper than Tejas, but Tejas is better than that in terms of technology. Along with Tejas, India has also offered Malaysia MRO i.e. its maintenance, repair and overhaul. Under this, Indian engineers in Malaysia will also repair Sukhoi aircraft of Russia, including Tejas, because Russia is unable to maintain Sukhoi aircraft in Malaysia due to Western sanctions due to Russia-Ukraine war. That’s why India is providing this facility to him.
India has also decided to include Tejas in its Air Force. India’s own Hindustan Aeronautics Limited (HAL) is making this fighter aircraft. There is no doubt that this decision of the central government has proved to be a milestone in the path of self-reliant India. India has now also joined the exporting countries of defense equipment. At present, India is exporting defense equipment to about 84 countries of the world, including big countries like Britain, America, France, Sweden. The doors of Southeast Asia will also open for India as soon as Tejas’s deal with Malaysia is confirmed in Southeast Asia. Till now only Chinese weapons were sold there, but now Tejas made in India is going to be entered there. This victory of India can trouble China.
Meanwhile, preparations have also been completed to make Tejas Mark-II, the second improved version of Tejas. It will be an updated version of Tejas Mark-I. Tejas will become more lethal after upgrade. The Tejas Mark-II can be fitted with seven air-to-air missiles, four air-to-surface missiles and five bombs. Its speed will be around 3,500 kilometers per hour. Also, it will be able to fly up to an altitude of 50 thousand feet. At one time it was time to put a lock on the construction of Tejas, but the Modi government relied on the engineers, scientists and the ability of Tejas of the country. As a result, Tejas is now flying in the sky with pride.
